Victor was born and raised in Camden, New Jersey and was educated through the Camden public school system. Victor has worked for the past 5 years as a Senior Consultant for Holmes & Company.
He has worked with a broad range of clients for Holmes & Company involving reviews of internal controls, Agreed-Upon Procedures (AUPs), Forensic Audits, Performance and SOC 1&2 Audit engagements. Victor has also been on audits of Financial Management Systems of Transit Authorities. His involvement on SOC 1 audits covered IT control areas such as technology management, Client Portal Reporting, Information Security, Physical Security, Incident Response, Database Access, Encryption, Workstation Access, Anti-virus, Network Security, Access Firewalls, Application Security, Change Management control, Data Retention and Backup, and Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity.
Previous to working at Holmes & Company, Victor worked in the education industry as President of Academics First, an educational tutoring company that provided free after school tutoring services for students in schools throughout the City of Camden.
Victor started his accounting career after working for 13 years with sports agencies that represented and managed several NBA and NFL elite players.
Victor was one of the most decorated basketball players in Camden High School history. He is 4th on Camden High School’s all time scoring list with 2,136 points. Victor was the starting point guard on the 1986 USA Today #1 High School basketball Team in the country, having played all 4 years on the Camden High Varsity basketball team. He was a 3 time All South Jersey selection, 2 time First Team All State selection, and he was the only athlete in the City of Camden to play in four straight State Final basketball games.
At Temple University, he enjoyed a fine collegiate basketball career as a 3 year starter under Hall of Fame Coach John Chaney. Victor was captain for 2 years and helped The Owls advance to 2 NCAA Eight games in 1991 and 1993.
Victor is a board member of the Camden Educational Foundation which raises scholarship money for 25 graduating students each year in the Camden New Jersey School District that have been admitted to college.
