Donna began her career at PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PWC). She has more than 25 years of experience in audit and consulting services involving compliance audits, cost recovery audits, and audits of internal control environments. Donna serves as Site Manager on the Federal Transit Administration (FTA)’s Financial Management Oversight (FMO) reviews, which involve internal control audits of financial management systems and reviews of National Transit Database (NTD) Reporting at transit agencies. She conducts sessions to train grantees and other consultants to prepare for FMO reviews and enhance transit knowledge.
Among the many advisory services she performs, Donna assists a bi-state agency, the Delaware River Port Authority (DRPA) and its subsidiary, PATCO hi-speed rail service, with their toll and fair box systems. Donna has reviewed and evaluated the internal controls and related processes of the toll revenue system for the four bridges that connect New Jersey and Pennsylvania. She also is involved with the review of internal controls and related processes for the agencies’ NTD reporting to the FTA.
Donna also performs compliance testing in accordance with Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of publicly traded companies. Responsibilities include obtaining an understanding of the design and operation of internal controls, assessing risk, testing controls for compliance, documenting findings, making recommendations for improvement of controls and business processes, and reporting results to management.
In her spare time, Donna enjoys Salsa dancing, Zumba, reading, scrapbooking and crocheting.
